  • Digital Lunar Orbiter Photographic Atlas of the Moon - Lunar and Planetary Institute. Originally published in 1971 as NASA SP-260, this atlas includes all the imagery from the pre-Apollo Lunar Orbiter. Although the photographic quality seems less than today's standards, it is far more useful than the Clementine imagery for studying the shape of things on the moon because of the Lunar Orbiter's low altitude and low to medium sun angles.
